The department’s job consists of designing piping and pipe support including create 3D models, perform stress calculations and prepare requisitions for piping and pipe support materials. We have the technical responsibility for manual valves in our projects. We establish and maintain the required specifications in PDMS for 3D modeling. The department has a multi-disciplinary responsibility to ensure that our projects have a functional layout, where HSE, access, operations and maintenance are taken care of.
Piping & Layout prepare various reports and drawings for fabrication, testing and offshore installation. We travel offshore for inspections, work offshore as field engineers, and participate during project completion.

Work tasks:

Technical responsible for the discipline work in projects.

• Ensure that the discipline work is in accordance with contract requirements, applicable HES requirements, quality requirements and governing documents.
• Establish discipline work on plan, report status and progress.
• Establish required discipline manning, and supervise discipline personnel to meet project milestones.
• Responsible for change control and risk control within own discipline.
• Perform information meetings within own discipline.
• Responsible for all discipline interfaces.
• Perform offshore survey when required.
• Contribute to the training of junior personnel.

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical education, Msc or Bsc degree.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience from offshore projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
• Discipline lead experience.
• Experience within tenders, concept evaluations, studies, pre-engineering, detail engineering and follow-up of fabrication and offshore installation.
• Excellent knowledge within relevant engineering standards and codes.
• Multidiscipline knowledge.
• Excellent cooperation and leader skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Norwegian.
